Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
My company does videography and photography for
advertising, as well as music videos. We've had them since February 06 and
these are still working with their original light bulbs! Alzo 2000 HMI heads
are compatible with any 5,200 K light sources. At times we include them in
the lighting list for photo-shoots that are going to take place in large
locations where a wall wash or a dark spot enhancement is needed. They are
the same color temperature than our flash heads. Sometimes when shooting
video we rent additional fluorescent kits and feel that they don't stand up
to an Alzo's power and end up putting the fluorescent apart. We have never
triggered a power breaker.
Low or almost no noise from the cooling fan
allows for perfect sound capture. If we feel the need to enlarge our in house
lighting capability, we'll get Alzo.
