**** (4 stars) Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver
Product: Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver - 4 Channel
by Ken D Photography from Marietta, Ohio

Pros: Small, light and inexpensive.

Cons: No hotshoe connection.

Best Uses: Syncing multiple flash units.

Describe Yourself: Professional Photographer

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Decided to give these a try last year, originally bought a transmitter and two receivers. They worked so well I now have a total of 6 receivers. Other than having some sync cord go bad, they've worked first time every time on both studio and portable flash units. I have used up to 5 flash units at the same time.

***** (5 stars) An inexpensive method of going wireless and gaining control
Product: Wireless Flash Trigger kit - 4 Channel
by Kris from Brooklyn, NY

Pros: WORKS, simple, good choice of connections, and of course, CHEAP!!

Cons: Build quality feels cheap, may require some setup tweaking with some adaptors for various flashes w/ no inputs,
Limited working distance (still great though!)

Best Uses: Budget-minded photographers who need, know or would like to experiment with lighting using a wireless manual setup.

Describe Yourself: Semi-Pro Photographer

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I researched many affordable kits available on the market and settled on Alzo Digital's wireless solution. Does it offer the quality and advanced circuitry of the top tier radio slave systems? No. However, does it enable the user to have wireless manual control over an unlimited amount of lighting units in a 60ft. range? Absolutely. Simply looking at the cost-benefit, Alzo's device offers operation up to a safe 60' range (or sometimes more) with various input configurations (pc, miniphone, 1/4" phone) for a mere fraction of what a high end brand name system would cost. The savings of, for instance, having a 3 or 4 receiver-transmitter setup is just amazing for a budget-minded consumer - all while delivering great performance that "just works" within the advertised limits. If you're looking for a radio trigger solution for your flashes or strobes that offers simple setup and basic configuration, and one that actually WORKS - Alzo Digital's wireless flash trigger kit is a GREAT choice. While the product is great, the customer service exceeded my expectations. It is personalized and a representative works with you through any question or problems you may have. There is good communication and effort to help the customer. I would recommend this product to other like-minded consumers.

***** (5 stars) Wireless Flash Trigger kit  Review
Product: Wireless Flash Trigger kit
by Gary from Lowell, MA

Pros: Inexpensive and small

Cons: No Lanyard on Tx

Best Uses: Portable studio

Describe Yourself: Professional Photographer

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

When I started going pro I needed a remote flash trigger to eliminate the dangling PC sync cords. Also, I needed to trigger up to 3 studio strobes simultaneously which is hard with regular cables. I got two ALZO Tx/Rx kits and an extra Rx and have been very happy with the results. It triggers reliably, is nice and compact is simple to hook up.
I'm familiar with the Pocket Wizard products and have used them a lot at the studio I rent. The ALZO devices may not be as sophisticated as PW units, but they perform all the important functions at a tiny fraction of the cost.
The only change I would suggest would be to add a small lanyard of some kind to the Tx unit so I can hang it on a light stand when it's not on the camera.
I've had no bad experiences with them during the two months I've been using them, and I've carried them to many location shoots.
I'd recommend these units without hesitation. Great product!

***** (5 stars) Alzo Wireless Flash Triggers are OK
Product: Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver - 4 Channel
by Bob from United States

Pros: great value for the price

Cons: could have better shielding

Best Uses: great for portrait photographs

Describe Yourself: Semi-Pro Photographer

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Excellent value for the price. I have used them successfully, and they really work!! You just set the toggle switches and plug them in. The only issue may be how well they are shielded. I was shooting portraits in a home, and they just started to go off due to RF interference. However, that was only once, and I've used them in homes, schools, hotels and other places without any problems.

They are said to have a more limited range than the more expensive systems. However, I have not had a problem, and long range is not generally my application. Again, a great value for the price.

***** (5 stars) Great Product
Product: Wireless Flash Trigger kit - 4 Channel
by Frank from Georgia

Pros: Small and compact and best of all, affordable

Cons: None Observed

Best Uses: I use mine in a home studio

Describe Yourself: Photo Enthusiast

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love my Wireless Trigger. It is small, easy to use and has not failed to trigger my strobes even once. I belong to two camera clubs, and I have shown my trigger to some of the members and even used it to photograph some of them. They were impressed. Easily worth five stars.

**** (4 stars) Flash Triggers
Product: 4 Channel Wireless Flash trigger and receiver
by Wolf from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada

Pros: light weight, decent range, easy on batteries

Cons: the 1/" to 1/8" is strange and for me causes the only misfires

Best Uses:

Describe Yourself: Professional Photographer

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have used the ALZO 4 channel wireless triggers for approximately 3 months (triggering Alien Bee mono blocks). The triggers have worked well almost 99% of the time. The times when they did not fire properly, is when there is not a good connection between the 1/4" to 1/8" plug or the 1/8" plug into the strobe.

I recommend these triggers to anyone who asks.

**** (4 stars) Has been a gem!
Product: Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver - 4 Channel
by JD from Atlanta, GA

Pros: Works great

Cons: Need the tiny little screw driver to change the battery!

Best Uses: With strobes

Describe Yourself: Semi-Pro Photographer

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I picked up this set about a year or so ago. I love it, works great everywhere I've used it. I mostly use it in a smaller studio space but I've taken it on location as well, and never had a problem. My only complaint is that when I needed two additional receivers, the new models were not compatible, and that was not conveyed to me at the time of purchase. So yes they are great, but verify they are compatible if you need additional components!
