The
ALZO 300 "COOL LITE" Tent kit with 3
lights consists of 2 light stands, a
Micro-Boom, Mini-clamp and 3 ALZO 300
lights. The larger light stand
supports the Micro-Boom with an
overhead light and the mini-clamp
holds a side light. This is a
suggested configuration but many
other configurations of the equipment
are possible.
The
Micro-Boom can be used to position a
light on the side, top or back of the
tent.
We do not recommend using the ALZO 300 fabric diffusers with the tent as this "double diffusion" will greatly reduce the light intensity. |

STEP 1: PREPARE LIGHT STAND The large light stand is supplied with a universal light mount stud that must be removed to install the Micro-Boom. We suggest that you save this item to allow you to use the stand to support a light fixture without the boom. Fully open the legs of the large light stand and tighten the wing lock screw on the base collar to stabilize the stand. Back out the wing lock screw until it is almost completely out of the stand top. |

STEP 2: ATTACH MICRO-BOOM Slide the Micro-Boom arm into the light stand top and tighten the wing lock screw on the stand top to hold the bar in place. Then secure the counter weight on the end of the boom with the mounting screw. Loosen the wing lock screw and slide the Micro-Boom to balance it. Re-tighten the wing bolt. Position the light stand with Micro-Boom either on the front side or back side of the tent. Raise the top section of the stand such that the tip of the Micro boom is 1 foot above the top of the tent. |

STEP 3: MICRO-BOOM ASSEMBLED Secure the ALZO 300 light head to the end of the boom and then re-balance the Micro-Boom. Tighten the wing lock screws and "dress" the power cord along the boom and stand. Re-positioning of the Micro-boom and setting the wing lock screw will mar the finish of the micro-boom arm and this is typical. |

STEP 4: ATTACH THE SIDE LIGHT Attach the side light to the Micro-Boom stand with the Mini-Clamp as shown here.
