The ALZO Digital Sparks Light is the
only specialized Patented light source specifically designed to illuminate
the interior of gemstones, to enhance the refractive spectral qualities
(brilliance), and to allow these qualities to be photographed.
The ALZO Sparks Light will give jewelry
sellers an edge in print marketing or on the web.
No other lighting device is capable of
making diamonds and other gemstones come alive in your camera and produce
stunning dramatic images. Diamonds are the best subjects for an ALZO Sparks
Light but other stones will respond with fantastic luminous effects as well.
The ALZO Sparks Light is a battery powered,
camera lens mounted special flash light with a color temperature of 5600K. It
is typically combined with a close-up filter and an optional cross-screen
filter to generate stunning spectral effects. When photographing gemstones
set in precious metals, we recommend using an ALZO tent with ALZO Digital
"Cool Lites" for the best results. See the ALZO SPARKS LIGHT COMPREHENSIVE

HOW IT WORKS?
The ALZO Sparks Light is a ring flash light with a special "adjustable
filter". This filter breaks up the light into many individual pin point beams
of light directed at the subject gem. The quantity and position of the light
beams is selectable/adjustable allowing for the control of the effect of the
light. some of the pin point beams of light enter the surface of the gem
stone and then refract inside the stone producing incredible spectral
effects. The effects can be altered by selecting the number of light sources
and the position of these sources.
CAMERA REQUIREMENTS:
The ALZO Sparks Light will not work with all digital cameras and requires
specific camera features as follows:

to produce excellent high resolution images of gemstones with the
FUJI Finepix SH10 digital camera.

OTHER OPTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Photographing gemstones and jewelry
is close-up or "macro" photography and typically a macro focus lens must be
very close to the subject. The ALZO sparks light needs to be 6" to 16" from
the subject and will not work very close to the subject. Therefore a
"Close-Up" Filter is required, attached to the camera lens, before the ALZO
Digital Sparks Light.
The
Close-Up Filter of +4 (or more)
allows the lens zoom function to act as a powerful magnifier for very small
objects and provides a good working distance for the sparks light.
The addition of a "cross screen"
filter produces special effects enhancing the drama of images produced with
the ALZO Sparks Light.

ALZO SPARKS LIGHT COMPREHENSIVE
JEWELRY IMAGING PACKAGE INCLUDES:
This package is the optimal
jewelry imaging kit providing the optimal ambient to Sparks Light ratio with
the balanced color temperature of 5500k. The ALZO 100 continuous light is an
excellent choice for ambient lighting with the Sparks Light as it is the
optimal intensity and is correctly color balanced.
A camera lens thread adaptor is required
for lenses with threads other than
49, 52 & 55mm lens. Please
