These dimmable 15-watt (140W Tungsten-equivalent) LED Joyous Light® bulbs with 5500K color temperature and a CRI of 93+ illuminates your home with bright white light, resembling daylight on a sunny day, midday. The bright white light output is ideal for reading and illuminating workspaces andd other areas that require visual accuracy and true rendering of colors. This dimmable LED bulb might not properly dim with incandescent dimmer switches; we recommend installing an LED dimmer switch. The long bulb life of about 25,000 hours and the low energy consumption will save you money in the long run, see lighting facts. All ALZO LED bulbs carry a 1-year warranty and are mercury-free, flicker-free and they generate very little heat. However, ALZO LED bulbs require ventilation; when LED bulbs are installed in fixtures that lack adequate ventilation, the life of the bulb will be reduced.
I redid my succulent light setup with these bulbs set overhead in aluminum clamp lights. After a few weeks, I can see that my succulents are no longer stretching and are gaining more bright pigments. Only affordable bulbs I found with high enough brightness, full spectrum, and high CRI. I also have a timer on these, and the bulbs coming on in the morning wakes me up naturally.
I searched all over the internet for full spectrum bulbs that can be hung overhead to simulate real exposure to sunlight. This is an approach that has worked well for my wife and me as a supplement or an alternative to sitting in front of an intense "happy light" (which I dislike). These ALZO bulbs are the only thing available that have a full 1300 lumens with light quality of 5500K and CRI 93+. Watch out for suspiciously marketed bulbs that do not truly emit full spectrum light (they are too low K and CRI) and are too dim (low lumens) to do what they are advertised for. These ALZO bulbs are very bright (so you wouldn't do night reading with them) but they wonderfully simulate bright sunlight.
