I like how it has a hotshot mount for DSLR camera and tripods. It's lite. I have a splitter from another microphone that I use to work with my iPad. Because the headphone jack on iPad needs three lines, where as the cameras and smartphones only need two lines. It doesn't work if it's not plugged into the splitter.
