60 inches wide polyester translucent clear diffusion fabric (not real silk) sold by the yard, price shown is for 1 yard. Diffusion fabric is machine cut on 4 sides; reduces light by 1.5 f-stops. Ideal for creating very large diffusion panels or for building your own light tents.
Not all diffusion materials are right for every lighting situation; however, this fabric is soft and flexible and can even be doubled if necessary to create that lambent light spread desired. Excellent product!

I searched for the right fabric to make my softbox DIY project... I tried ripstop and other fabrics, but this is the right amount of diffusion and color is good, so bingo... will buy again
