Hanging DJ, band, stage lights and lighting effects from a suspended drop ceiling is very easy with this ALZO DJ Light mounting bar.  This 6 foot aluminum bar with 3 light mounting clips simplifies mounting lights and improves cord management.  Supporting Lights with total weight in excess of 8 pounds requires making reinforcement changes to the ceiling frame connections to the true ceiling.  The included installation user guide provides details about making adjustments to support excess of 8 pounds of total weight.

The maximum load of the ALZO DJ Light mounting bar is 40 pounds assuming a well distributed load and proper secure attachment of the suspended ceiling T-Bar frame to the true ceiling. For example, the bar will support 4 - 10 pound lights assuming they are evenly distributed along the bar. If the lights are located near the bar ceiling mount clips, then the weight of the light could be as high as 20 pounds assuming the secure attachment of the bar support to the true ceiling.

When exceeding 8 lbs of total supported weight, extra suspended ceiling T-Bar frame support wires must be affixed near the mounting scissor clips to the true ceiling.
