Included with all ALZO light stands, this double-ended stud has a 1/4 inch x 20 screw thread on one end, and a 3/8 x 20 on the other.
I have an Alzo 8' air cushion light stand I use with a homemade boom arm and counter weight for product photography. The 5/8" brass stud lets me use the stand as a conventional light stand on other projects!
