The ALZO Shock Multi-Mount® is a lightweight, yet sturdy all-aluminum mounting device for shotgun microphones, audio recording devices, video lights, monitors and other gadgets used for video and audio recording. It consists of 2 hex frames with 3 shoe mounts each, 4 pairs of pins to hold the rubber bands, a connecting bar with 5 holes for adjusting the distance between the frames, and a metal shoe mount for attachment to a camera. The larger frame also has five (5) 1/4 inch mounting holes for gear mounting options. The strong rubber bands can be used in a set of 2, 3 or 4 and they guarantee secure recorder or microphone grip and superb ultra low noise audio recording. 2 rubber bands are shown holding a ZOOM H4N and this is very secure even when aiming the rig face down.
Includes extra rubber bands as well.
This device is designed to accommodate all handheld audio recorders and the universal cold shoe mounts and 1/4 inch holes, accept the attachment of most other gear.

Just have it setup now-nice and straight forward. Will be using it with my Zoom H4N Pro for now as a backup to my lavaliere microphone. Will use it later for a "shotgun" style or similar looking microphone--nice that it handles both the H4N and different microphones. It fits easily onto one my tripods, attaches to a light stand using a flash connector, and I'll need to get a small ballhead to attach it to my microphone stand.
