This wireless radio-controlled shutter release with mini 2.5 mm TRS connector has a 300 feet range with penetration through walls. The 4 position switch allows for the selection of 16 channels to reduce RF interference. Supports partial shutter AF and AE, continuous drive and bulb mode; bi-color LED on transmitter indicates partial and full shutter. I purchased an earlier version years ago for the 20D and it worked perfectly. I recently bought two copies of the newer unit for a 70D and a Canon Rebel. Out of the box, one receiver did not get a signal from either transmitter. I called customer service, explained the problem, and Ken immediately offered a replacement which, on arrival, worked perfectly. I understand things fail for numerous reasons but I judge quality of a company ultimately by its willingness to stand behind its products. Well done!
I purchased this remote for an older Pentax DLSR. I use that along with my Pentax K70 for bird photography. The K70 is controlled by my phone. Now I can use both at once. Works like a charm!
This is the second one I purchased. Both work excellent with my Canon Rebels.
It works perfectly for my purposes. I had a battery problem and support resolved it quickly. Good product.
