The ALZO Black Plexiglas Riser Platform is used in commercial jewelry and small object product photography to create special effects; it can be used inside an imaging tent or standalone. You can use the black riser platform to produce dramatic images as it produces a blackout background with a slight mirror reflection. This provides a dramatic presentation for some subjects, particularly jewelry.
ALZO tents are recommended for use with this platform to reduce unwanted room reflections in the glossy surfaces. This small riser platform fits perfectly into the ALZO 14 inch or 28-inch tent and raises the subject 2 inches. It includes a curved back panel to eliminate a horizon line in images when shooting at a low angle. It is constructed of heavy 1/4 inch acrylic plexiglass and can support up to 20 pounds of weight.
