This general purpose shoe mount allows a cold or hot shoe device to mount on a light stand or camera rig. Side thumb screw lock guarantees lockdown of the shoe mount device. Includes 1/4 inch x 20 female thread hole mount in the base. This device is part of the ALZO Flip Flash Bracket and ALZO Transformer Rig series.
Described as being the same cold shoe on the Flip Flash Bracket, I actually expected this to have the built-in “stopper” that forces you to mount gear into the shoe from the rear. This is a nice touch as it won’t allow anything to slide out the front. Alas, for $9.50 you don’t get the “stopper” but other than that you do get a shoe that greatly resembles the ones on the bracket. It works fine but I expected a bit more for the price.
